It was quite the sight to see and very special much like the cause Rancid were supporting.

As Rancid steamed through tracks off “And Out Come The Wolves”, “Life Won’t Wait”, “Indestructible” and “Let The Dominoes Fall” it was clear to all that we were witnessing a band truly on top of their game, not only as musicians and song writers but also as great live performers who could take their songs to new places like no other. New tracks like “East Bay Night”, and “New Orleans” stood up among the hugely successful hits “Ruby Soho” and “Maxwell Murder” in which Matt Freeman’s bass solo lit the stage on fire, once again we were all reminded that Matt is by far the most virtuous bassist in Punk rock.



“Time Bomb” was a perfect closer to a perfect show and a memorable way to end a concert that is going down as a very special Rancid concert in Los Angeles Punk history. Tim, Lars and Matt thanked all in attendance as they exited the stage for their continued support. As the crowd emptied out onto Hollywood blvd. the positive vibe followed and hung around as friends talked about the awesome concert they had just witnessed and how Rancid are still one of the best Punk rock bands all these years later, giving it their all and sounding great all the same.
